Product package contains one Compact Surface Mount Duct Connector Flange for 4 inch Intake/Exhaust Ducts.  This duct connector enables the mounting of a 4 inch (ID) duct to a flat surface.  As a male type connector, the connector surface is designed to fit inside 4 inch (ID) ducting components.  For best function we recommend securing flexible ducts to the coupler with duct/hose clamps (not included) and for permanent applications, using an ABS compatible sealant.  For easiest install we recommend checking fitments prior to permanent use as the OD of this item may fit some ducting types or brands more tightly than others. This compact connector will NOT fit directly with fans or other male type ducting components.  Maximum recommended temperature 185 F.  Plastic ducting components like this one should not be used with clothes dryer ventilation systems in accordance with international building codes.
